Our Pinot Noir is a made from some of Santa Barbara County’s great cool climate Pinot Noir vineyards. It’s a selection of barrels from Sanford & Benedict, Rio Vista, Riverbench, and Kick On Ranch. All the vineyard lots were fermented separately with as much as 100% whole clusters in a couple of the lots, to build in a little extra tannin and complexity.
The wine is crazy clear, pure, fresh and drinkable. It’s full of clean red fruits - loads of strawberries, raspberries, red currants, cherries and complex herby notes. Aromatically, there's heaps of dried herbs and bay leaves. The palate has ocean breeze acidity and great energy to ride along with its medium weight red fruits.
